Claudia González
Claudia holds a degree in Computer Science Engineering from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, with a minor in Data Science. Her academic background spans artificial intelligence, machine learning, data science, and natural language processing, with a sustained focus on inclusive technology and its impact on education. Her training integrates core theory, algorithmic design, statistical learning, and data intensive methodologies across these domains.
Her professional background includes research and applied projects at the National Center for Artificial Intelligence and the Department of Computer Science at UC, with work ranging from curriculum learning research to NLP solutions for analyzing public submissions during the development of Chile's first National AI Policy. She has taught and assisted in university courses such as databases, operating systems, data mining, and pattern recognition, and has contributed to outreach initiatives that bring AI concepts to teachers and high school students.
As the Associate Director of Technology at My Simple Wording, Claudia leads the Digital and Technological Hub and oversees platform engineering and systems architecture. Within MSW she is responsible for core infrastructure across our digital products and services, and she leads strategic initiatives in integrations, data platforms, and internal services and APIs. She drives the development of automation tools and conversational assistants that support students and staff, while ensuring reliability, scalability, security, and alignment with academic and business goals. Grounded in her university teaching and outreach, she brings a sustained passion for education and ensures that technology strategy and engineering priorities remain aligned with MSW’s pedagogical objectives and the practical needs of learners and educators.
Her combination of technical depth, teaching experience, and dedication to broadening participation in STEM helps MSW advance a digital innovation model centered on learning outcomes and guided by an inclusive vision that values diversity and expands participation in technology. With her involvement we are establishing an engineering culture of high standards and disciplined delivery, building systems that scale and endure.
